RoutoMessaging Shift to Global Text and Multimedia Broadcasting Services

March 18, 2010

(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)
RoutoMessaging, a full service SMS and MMS messaging company with a customer base in over 200 countries, has announced that the worldwide economic slowdown has brought about a double digit percentage increase in the number of organizations using its global text and multimedia broadcasting services.

The accelerating trend towards using its messaging services, according to the company, is due to businesses striving to cut the cost of communications with customers, staff and stakeholders. The cost reduction has also helped them have more immediate and personalized relations with all their publics.

From the financial services sector, the company has seen the greatest increase as more banks across Europe, to advise customers that monthly statements are on-line, are using its text broadcasting services.

From the last year, RoutoMessaging has also seen more professional bodies and trade associations adopting its services. Message broadcasting to remind members all over the world that subscriptions are due or of new services is also used by many now.

Text and multimedia messaging to generate new streams of revenues, pushing fans around the world to sign up for team alerts and to take advantage of new merchandising deals are also used by the Football clubs.

Various media companies have also adopted its multimedia broadcasting services last year to send content-rich videos and trailers direct to the mobiles of consumers all over the world.

“Clearly, text messaging has become the killer app for financial services, supermarkets, consumer brands, sports clubs, media companies and many other business sectors,” said Matthew Chung, RoutoMessaging’s CEO. “They know that when it comes to large-scale messaging, RoutoMessaging's push/pull text and multimedia services, 24/7 support and commercial policies have raised the bar and re-defined the competitive landscape.”

In related news, RoutoMessaging recently announced that Iraq’s national fixed wireless voice and data provider Itisaluna Abr Al Iraq to offer text messaging services to millions of local subscribers has started using its global SMS services.
