The 2011 NFL Draft from April 28-30 is scheduled to take place at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, being the official wireless service provider partner for the NFL, will allow customers to enjoy a vantage position with Verizon's NFL Mobile application.

Company officials say that with just a year into its launch, NFL Mobile has been a very popular app for Verizon Wireless (News - Alert). America's most popular game is being enjoyed by millions of fans, who have downloaded the app.

All the Draft picks and updates of the 2011 NFL Draft will be tracked by the NFL Mobile app and users will have real-time information and notifications right in the palm of their hands regardless of wherever they are.

Currently available on more than 25 smartphones, the NFL Mobile app is wearing a new look this year as a live draft tracker and draft pick analysis from experts have been introduced. This is in addition to the live stream of the NFL Network and Video on demand

Fans can also link to their favorite player's page within the app, while the prospect pages will allow fans to look at the new caps that will be donned by some prospective players. Customers can use the war rooms to talk with other fans and also to comment on the draft activity.

As the NFL Mobile Fan War Rooms are fully integrated with NFL.com's Fan War Rooms, smartphone users can also participate in any online discussion. Fans can avail of these facilities at no additional charge through Sept. 1, 2011.

The only condition that needs to be satisfied is that users must have a data plan on their account to use NFL Mobile. Customers can download the App by texting "NFL" to 8915 for a link to the app while Android (News - Alert) users can download it from the Verizon channel in the Android Market.

While prospective players and their respective agents wait anxiously for the selections to be made, Verizon NFL Mobile fans can also look forward to nail-biting sessions.
