Vitals Appoints First Chief Digital Officer, Ellie Hirschhorn


Vitals, a leader in providing health care transparency and engagement solutions, announced that Ellie Hirschhorn has joined the company as its first Chief Digital Officer. She will be charged with maximizing the consumer experience and evolving the Vitals.com website to empower consumers to shop for health care providers with confidence.

Hirschhorn was previously Chief Digital Officer and Executive Vice President at Simon & Schuster where she was responsible for the company's global digital initiatives, including websites, mobile, CRM, ecommerce platforms, content syndication and operations. Prior to Simon & Schuster, Hirschhorn was EVP, Digital at another CBS division, CBS College Sports. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer at MediaNet, a digital subscription music company and was General Manager of MTV.com.
