The official mobile security supplier of the Indy Racing League, sanctioning body of the IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights will be served by Safefreight Technology, developer and provider of a fleet management and fleet intelligence software. Safefreight's Smartfleet system will be utilized by the Indy Racing League on all league transporters and trailers to protect these critical race assets during the season.

Indy Racing League will get far more than just security monitoring with Safefreight's technology. The system provided by the company has built-in GPS vehicle tracking, trailer monitoring, vehicle diagnostics monitoring and other functionality. The return on investment is measured by reduction in fuel consumption, mechanical driving skills analysis, enhanced mechanical vehicle performance which results in reduced maintenance costs, and also a greener and environmentally efficient fleet.
