Intelimax Unveils DraftTeam.com
(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)
A fantasy sport is a game where participants are the owners to build a team that plays against other fantasy owners. The results will be based on the statistics generated by the real individual players or teams of a professional sport. According to a roster selected by a manager that makes up a fantasy team, the most common variant converts statistical performance into points that are compiled and totaled.
Recently, Intelimax Media Inc., announced that the company has successfully completed the final testing phase of its Fantasy Sports platform on its web property DraftTeam.com.
DraftTeam.com is now providing various customizable public and private entry fee contest options for its members to play. It is also offering regular weekly free roll tournaments. On all entry fees that are collected on the website, DraftTeam.com charges a management fee.
For the four major sports in North America, which includes NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB (News - Alert), the DraftTeam.com website provides daily and weekly fantasy sports games.
“We are very excited about the introduction of entry fees to our daily fantasy sports web property DraftTeam.com, which in turn generates revenues from management fees charged on each individual tournament played. Since launching the platform just a few short weeks ago DraftTeam.com has already grown into a community of several hundred members. Our timing for growth couldn't be better with football season right around the corner, which typically accounts for over 70 percent of all fantasy sports revenues," said Michael Young, president.
In 2011, the company entered into a purchase and sale agreement and a software support agreement with Las Vegas From Home.com Entertainment Inc.
