Rokform Unveils Golf Shooter
(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)
All good coaches make use of some type of golf swing analysis technology to support their diagnosis and advance their coaching. This can be anything from simple video camera play back to the most advanced golf swing analysis, which is combined with systems incorporating hardware feedback and data from items such as high speed video cameras.
Recently, Rokform LLC has announced the first Golf Specific iPhone (News - Alert) 4/4s case mount for recording golf swings on and off the course. Rokform has created what could be considered the best product in the world of golf swing video analyses in a combined effort with PGA Tour professional players and instructors.
For steady swing recordings on and off the course, the Rokform Golf Shooter for the iPhone 4/4s allows users to immediately mount their iPhone 4/4s. While the iPhone 4/4s is safely mounted with the help of the included award-winning Rokbed v3 protective iPhone 4/4s case, the Golf Shooter simply sticks into the turf, the company stated in a press release.
“Every time I went to the range I saw players asking fellow golfers to take iPhone video of their swing. To me this seemed like a big hassle not only for the player swinging but the one taking the video! The Rokform Golf Shooter not only eliminates the need for a second person it allows the player to get a precise, consistent, down the line view of their swing." said Jeff Whitten, VP of Rokform.
Recently, the company announced its solution for iPhone4 4/s mobile phone mounts, the new Lil'Rok magnetic button. The new Lil'Rok magnetic button is created to offer ease of use and function through the power of rare earth magnets and it works with the magnetically enabled Rokbed v3 iPhone4 4/s case. Equipped with 3M (News - Alert) VHB double-sided adhesive for rapid installation, Lil'Rok has a solid 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum casing, features a rare earth magnet with 10lbs full force.
