January 27, 2012

(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)

Spotlight TMS is a software as a service application for managing corporate suite and ticket assets. According to the company, it has enabled Tickets.com achieve a 65 percent improvement in efficiency while managing tickets and suites in the past year. Tickets.com has therefore extended its agreement with SpotlightTMS by signing a multi-year contract.

According to company officials, all aspects of sports and entertainment ticket management have been centralized and automated by the enterprise SaaS (News - Alert) application, SpotlightTMS. Tickets.com and other SpotlightTMS users are provided a clear and concise understanding of how they are using their sports and entertainment assets. SpotlightTMS users are therefore able to maximize revenues and ROI from their ticket and suite investments.

In a release, John Rizzi, senior vice president of product management and strategy at Tickets.com, said, "Given our policy of validating and recommending only best-of-breed providers to our clients, Spotlight Ticket Management has been a preferred partner for some time."

Professional sports teams, multi-purpose arenas and performing arts organizations are able to control their ticketing operations with the event ticketing solutions from Tickets.com. Suites and tickets are received by Tickets.com as part of these relationships. Tickets.com supports business development initiatives by using these suite and ticket assets.

Rizzi said, "Through the validation process, we realized we could use SpotlightTMS to manage our internal tickets as well. With tens of thousands of tickets to manage internally -- spanning multiple sports leagues and overlapping seasons, plus myriad concerts and other live events -- we needed an automated, transparent and efficient ticket management solution for our internal use. SpotlightTMS has revolutionized our internal ticket management and has measurably saved us time and effort."
