Sports Tracking Technologies has announced that its Sports Tracker App, a social sports tracking solution, for iPhone (News - Alert) is now available at the App Store. Officials said that the app makes training more social and helps users live healthier and happier lives whether they are cycling, running or walking.

The Sports Tracker App is equipped with new social features along with tracking capabilities. Company officials said that these capabilities will enable users to share workout data and photos with other Sports Tracker users, Facebook (News - Alert) and Twitter.

In addition, users can also view friends' profiles, comment on their workouts and photos and explore the globe to discover new routes, trails and adventures. Company officials said that Sports Tracker now has an active community of millions of users in over 200 countries around the world. It has been used to track over 90 million training kilometers – 58 million miles – in the past year alone.
