Jaguars, Mobio Identity Systems Enhance Game-Day Experience

Mobio Identity Systems, Inc., an identity and payment company specializing in m-commerce applications has chosen Jacksonville as a new market in its nationwide launch for advanced smartphone technology.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have collaborated with Mobio to improve the fan game-day experience. The first NFL sporting venue launch of the smartphone technology is the EverBank Field.
The partnership between Mobio and the Jacksonville Jaguars is multi-faceted. Mobio recently tested its technology inside the stadium by offering guests in Touchdown Club East the option to order food and beverages from their seat. The aim is to extend this chance to all club seats at EverBank Field. A barcode is also provided in the game-day program of the Jaguars. This gives fans a chance to win an autographed jersey of their choice.
Mark Binns, the chief marketing officer at Mobio, said that Jacksonville is a perfect new market city for Mobio’s smartphone technology. Mobio, as a community of early adopters of technology, anticipates both a good response from the consumer as well as great insight into their reaction to the technology. Binns added that Jacksonville is going to be on the cutting-edge of consumer and merchant relationships of the future.
A mobile application that runs on an increasing lineup of smartphones is offered by Mobile. Mobio for Apple’s iPhone (News - Alert) enables consumers to make payments while shopping online or in stores. Mobio creates a random credit card number every time a user scans a Mobio barcode by using 2-D barcodes. This provides a Mobio user with a convenient and secure transaction.
