Oklahoma Special Olympics Teams with Bradford

September 25, 2012

(OLYMPICS TECHNOLOGY)

The Special Olympics of Oklahoma has teamed up with Bradford Technology Services in a strategic and timely partnership for both parties. This engagement will be a boon to both organizations – a mutually beneficial pairing that can only lead to improvement on both ends.

Oklahoma’s Special Olympics has long been committed to improving its technological and state-of-the-art capabilities. This forward-thinking is meant to bring this branch of the Special Olympics up to speed with other states’ programs, some of which are further along than Oklahoma, in terms of technology.

Bradford Technology Services has signed on to work with the Special Olympics of Oklahoma as its official technology sponsor. Bradford will work to create a plan spanning five years that will hopefully improve the technological prowess and accessibility of the Special Olympics group.

The main goal of both parties is to determine where in the Special Olympics program technological advances could be of service, where it is worthwhile to invest time and money into bolstering the Special Olympics program and where it is acceptable to leave well enough alone.

Some of the areas Bradford anticipates having a greater hand in are athlete-coach cooperation, organization of volunteers, and dealings with donors.

Hopefully, with the help of Bradford, the Special Olympics of Oklahoma will be able to reinforce its already stellar program with even more advances in technology and technological capability. Everyone stands to win from this partnership – most of all, the athletes involved.

It’s important for both parties to put their resources to good use for the sake of the people who need them the most.
