Vox Communications, a subsidiary of Pervasip Corp., recently announced that Apppli, a software development and digital marketing firm, will market its VoX Mobile VoIP app in the U.K. during the 2012 London Olympics.

Apppli will handle all aspects of marketing – strategy, research, campaign management, analytics and reporting.

VoX Mobile VoIP allows users to make 60 minutes of calls to 60 countries. Individuals also get unlimited SIP/VoIP calling and instant messaging to other VoX Mobile customers from anywhere in the world over 3G/4G and Wi-Fi networks.

"Apppli's expertise is precisely what our Android app needs to reach its full potential in the marketplace," said Barry MacCheyne, CMO at VoX Communications (News - Alert). "Our customers have reacted positively to our product over the last few months and the reviews are positive. We feel our app has the potential to go viral but needs the additional marketing force of a company like Apppli to fully reach the global community of mobile users."

"VoX VoIP is an exciting, high-quality product with unique value propositions in a competitive marketplace,” said Nader Alaghband, founder of Apppli. “We look forward to helping them break through."

Vox Communications recently announced fixed priced calling plans to Brazil via its Android mobile voice app available in Google (News - Alert) Play. Plans include calling to mobile phones in Brazil at a price of only 12 cents a minute, significantly lower than prices charged by other wireless carriers. The company said a VoX user can subscribe entirely on the phone and choose a U.S. phone number without leaving the interface, which makes the sign up process more pleasing than many competitors.
