CrossCore Launches Challenge for Manufacturers of Suspended Types of Trainers

March 16, 2011

(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)

CrossCore, Inc , a maker of a line of self powered training products under the brand name of American Made, launched a unique challenge for the manufacturers of suspended types of "Bodyweight Trainer".

Through a press release, CrossCore invited all the manufacturers exhibiting some sort of bodyweight strap or trainer at this year’s IHRSA (International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association) trade show to demonstrate their products in a friendly contest and compete with CrossCore’s War Machine Suspended Pulley Trainer.

To be a winner, the product should at least come close to the strength and functionality of the War Machine Suspended Pulley Trainer. The manufacturing company that manages to prove the superiority of its product will be awarded with a head to head bodyweight trainer "Combat Challenge" at 2011 IHRSA trade show. In addition, CrossCore will donate $1,000 to the charity of the winners’ choice. CrossCore’s chosen charity is MDA's (News - Alert) "Augie's Quest".

In the recent years, there has been a surge in the demand for suspended types of trainers. With the increase in the availability of the product options, consumers are faced with the challenge of selecting the best product. It has become difficult for the consumers to choose from a variety of types of the products, some coming with multiple handles and some being attached to their anchor point differently. Celebrity endorsements make things even more confusing.

When it comes to buying a personal body weight trainer, consumers seek answers to a number of questions, and among them, the one most asked is which brand offers the best and most versatile bodyweight trainer in the market?

Interested manufacturers are encouraged to participate in the challenge at IHRSA trade show in San Francisco on March 17th and 18th at the Gopher Performance booth #213.

Recently, IHRSA named Motionsoft, a provider of SaaS (News - Alert) based member management and financial solutions to the health and wellness industry as the 2011 Associate Member of the Year. Both Motionsoft and IHRSA share the commitment to bettering the health and wellness industry. The award will be presented at IHRSA's 30th Annual International Convention and Trade Show in San Francisco, being held between March 16th and 19th.
