FASTHockey - Sport Ngin Reveal FASTHockey 360

December 13, 2013

(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)

This week, Sport Ngin, a company out of Minneapolis, Minn. that is involved in sports and technology and offers customers Web software, mobile solutions and apps to livestream games in HD, announced its collaboration with FASTHockey. This is a company that maintains the stream, video and audio components of two Broadcast Operations Centers (BOC’s) during all live game webcasts and will be Ngin’s digital media partner for live round-the-clock streaming of hockey and delivery of games over a new revolutionary platform.

Media sources report the two companies have launched the new webcasting platform, FASTHockey 360, which has been specifically created to deliver live video streaming of premier ice hockey league play—governing bodies, conferences, events, leagues, and teams—for customers, said Justin Kaufenberg, Chief Executive Officer at Sport Ngin.

FASTHockey’s founder Marc Ruskin explained that the FASTHockey 360 system is a comprehensive, fully-integrated, digital media platform; the platform will include Sport Ngin’s entire suite of professional-level management tools and applications for FASTHockey clients to enjoy at no extra cost.

FASTHockey 360 is expected to be unleashed well ahead of the 2014/2015 hockey season. Meanwhile, leagues and sport fans interested in this new opportunity are able to visit the official website of FASTHockey to inquire for more details.

Thanks to FASTHockey, ice hockey league fans around the world can watch the amateur and premier action for free from the comfort of their homes or on the move, as the FASTHockey platform “now includes distribution to desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, Roku, and Google (News - Alert) TV;” this is included in their membership fees, Ruskin affirmed.

He added that registered members will be able to gain access to Sport Ngin’s products, including their latest mobile app and real-time scoring technologies for those interested in finding out team scores, stats, schedules, news, rosters and player profiles.

As a technology partner of USA Hockey (since April) and having launched the new website NCHCHockey.com (in August), Sport Ngin has brought the action of the sport around the world  to customers through technology, with the goal of delivering the most interactive experience possible (via Web- and mobile-based sports technology solutions). Fans are able to retrieve information on an unlimited number of league teams, complete with integrated game-by-game statistics, on top of having functionality to capture videos and photos and upload them, whenever they want.

Ruskin is confident that FASTHockey 360 is the easy-to-use Web platform that will strengthen their position in the ice hockey marketplace and believes the platform will change the digital media space for the game viewership around the world in giving fans a whole new way to connect, when and how they want it.
