SpotlightTMS Announces Record Growth, Strong Support from Fortune 1000 and Top Professional Sports Teams

April 13, 2012

(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)

SpotlightTMS recently announced they experienced outstanding results in 2011, mainly because a large number of Fortune 1000 companies have implemented the company’s SpotlightTMS solution in order to gain a better return on investment (ROI) in their sports and entertainment ticket and suite assets.

“We’ve added a significant number of new corporate customers over the past year, which drove revenues to record levels in 2011,” said Tony Knopp, SpotlightTMS CEO. “We’re poised to continue on that growth trajectory this year, thanks largely to the ability of SpotlightTMS to help our corporate sports and entertainment clients meet their marketing objectives.”

Some of the major corporations around the world – Google, Comcast, MetLife, Principal Financial Group, Stanley Black & Decker (News - Alert), Nike, Oracle, NBCUniversal and Penske Truck Leasing – have migrated their ticket management to the cloud with SpotlightTMS.

One such success story is Baker Hughes (News - Alert). Anna Lyssa Cuevas, industry events manager at Baker Hughes said “Since switching from our previous ticket management method to SpotlightTMS, we now achieve 90 percent ticket utilization, save time and are able to ensure that our tickets are going to the right people for the right reasons.”

SpotlightTMS has entered partnerships with over 35 professional sports teams, going on to create a unique distribution channel. The company also reports there are a number of new teams who are signing up every month. Some of these include Chicago Bears, New Jersey Devils, Sacramento Kings, Cincinnati Bengals, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Philadelphia Eagles and Memphis Grizzlies.

“SpotlightTMS not only streamlines the suite ticket request and allocation process for our corporate clients,” said Josh Hartman, manager, premium services and suites for the Baltimore Ravens. “It provides metrics that enable them to accurately measure the return on their investment in the suite.”

“Sports and entertainment tickets and suites represent a powerful marketing tool,” added Knopp. “When used correctly, they can help build relationships, generate leads and increase sales, all while enhancing brand equity. But organizations that lack a rigorous process for managing these investments may be at risk for waste and fraud, and could be exposing themselves to substantial penalties.”
