Uru Sports Launches South Africa's First Field Hockey Recruitment Platform


DENVER, Feb. 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its mission to help athletes find opportunities worldwide, the world's first field hockey platform, Uru Sports, announced the launch of its South Africa branch this week.

Lead by former Olympian Rassie Pieterse and field hockey World Cup coach Garreth Ewing, Uru Africa is already successfully connecting athletes with opportunities worldwide. Over 200 players signed up to use the platform at Uru Africa's introductory appearance supporting the Pro Series Indoors event in Cape Town last November. With over 25 years of combined experience coaching and competing on professional hockey teams, Pieterse and Ewing bring unparalleled leadership to Uru Africa.
