Washington Capitals Score 259 Goals and Connect Our Kids Scores $25,900 from the Burke & Herbert Bank Score's for Kids ProgramFALLS CHURCH, Va., April 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Technology non-profit Connect Our Kids received $100 from Burke & Herbert Bank for every goal scored by the Washington Capitals during the 2017-18 regular season, a total of $25,900. Connect Our Kids is a privately-funded, non-profit organization designing intelligent software to dramatically improve the process of finding permanent families for foster children. Burke & Herbert teamed up with NBC Sports for the third year-in-a row to sponsor the Scores for Kids program. The bank selects young charities that benefit from financial support while in the launch phase.
