First Command is a Proud Sponsor of the Coast Guard Academy Athletic Activity Fund

First Command Financial Services, Inc., is proud to team up with the Coast Guard Academy Athletic Activity Fund in a long-term sponsorship agreement benefitting the cadets at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

The five-year relationship kicks off with the start of the 2017 football season, when First Command will partner with the Academy in a variety of support activities. First Command will sponsor the Homecoming football game on Oct. 21, when the Coast Guard Bears play the MIT (News - Alert) Engineers, and the End of Season Football Banquet. First Command will also support the Annual Women's LeadHERship Symposium in January and the Volunteer Coach Appreciation Reception in May.

"First Command is honored to partner with the Coast Guard Academy Athletic Activity Fund as a proud sponsor of the athletic program at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy," said Scott Spiker, chairman/CEO of First Command. "We see this agreement as a clear demonstration of our support of the Coast Guard and the Coast Guard Academy and another example of our continuing commitment to programs that matter to service members. We are committed to enriching the lives of the men and women of America's career military at all stages of their careers."

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy's Director of Athletics Tim Fitzpatrick said, "We are most grateful to First Command for their very strong sponsorship commitment to CGA athletics. In challenging fiscal times like these, we are relying more than ever on the dedicated support that our corporate ponsors provide to maintain the high quality cadet-athlete experience that we are proud to provide. First Command is truly making a difference for our total athletic program, and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship."
