Fiber Science Expert Juan Hinestroza joins CycloPure's Scientific Advisory TeamENCINITAS, Calif., April 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CycloPure, Inc. announced today that Juan Hinestroza, Director of the Textiles Nanotechnology Laboratory at Cornell University, has joined the company's Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Hinestroza is a U.S. Fulbright Scholar and leading expert in fiber science technologies. He is a co-inventor of the company's process to functionalize fabrics with its breakthrough adsorption technology.
Professor Hinestroza's work has been featured in a broad array of scientific and media publications. He presents at conferences around the world on his pioneering work in the development of "smart textiles," and was a featured speaker at the Sports Technology Symposium hosted by FC Barcelona in November 2016. Later this year, Juan will speak at the French Open Sports Innovation Forum at Roland Garros, and will discuss clean technologies in manufacturing as a keynote speaker at this year's World Fashion Convention in Rio de Janeiro.
