"I have thoroughly enjoyed building the Bedford business over the last 19 years. We began a process six years ago to develop a management succession plan at Bedford. I am happy to say that that plan has now come to fruition with Jeff Breitzman's promotion to the role of CEO. I have no doubt that Jeff will do an outstanding job leading the company in its next stage of growth," said Larsen.

"While I am certainly proud of the growth we have achieved over the last 19 years, I believe my greatest accomplishment has been assembling a world-class team that is highly focused and committed to continuing to grow the business going forward. The company is well positioned today as a market-leading building products manufacturer, with an unrivaled portfolio of premium brands and products, track record of innovation, and quality rep network," Larsen added "I feel that now is a good time to begin a leadership transition given the strong positioning of Bedford and the momentum we have in the business. I look forward to assisting the team throughout the leadership transition process."

He holds a B.S. and MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. "Leading Bedford is a tremendous opportunity, and I look forward to working with the company's incredibly talented and dedicated leadership team and its committed employees as we continue to accelerate our grwth," said Breitzman. "My top priority will be to continue to grow the business through product innovation, strengthening our distribution network and providing superior service to our customers."

Jeff Turner, chairman of the Bedford Technology board and managing partner in the private equity group Hillcrest Capital Partners, said, "We are delighted to promote Jeff to president and CEO. After working closely with Jeff over the last six years, the board feels strongly that Jeff has the experience and leadership to build on the strong momentum and growth plans and the ability to lead the next stage of Bedford Technology's growth. The board would like to thank Brian for his outstanding leadership as CEO. Brian has been instrumental in building Bedford Technology into a market leading building products manufacturer, with an unrivaled portfolio of premium brands and products, track record of innovation, distribution network, and a best-in-class management team."

In addition to the promotion of Breitzman, additional members have also been added to the executive team at Bedford. Mike Nesdahl has been named as the vice-president of sales and marketing and Dan Greve as the CFO. Both roles have been created to add a level of experience to Bedford that will take the company to the next level.
