Entic Selected to University of Florida's 2017 Gator100

Entic was named to University of Florida's (UF) 2017 Gator100 list, during a ceremony at UF's J. Wayne Reitz Union. The Gator100, calculated by Ernst & Young, recognized Entic as one of the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by UF Alumni.

Entic's technology provides real-time energy analytics to large commercial properties, allowing building owners and managers to gain enhanced visibility into a facility's major energy consuming systems, delivering actionable insights that optimize building performance. The company's clients include flagship hotel groups such as Hilton, and Starwood, regional hospitals, office buildings, and Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins to name a few.

"We are grateful to be recognized for our success by UF," said Manuel Rosendo, Entic's President and Chief Innovation Officer (1988 B.S. Electrical Engineering). "Our vision to provide buildings with year-round efficiency and to drive savings was one born of same discipline and drive for and innovation instilled at UF."

"The Gator100 recognizes the entrepreneurial spirit entrenched in the university," said Timothy Walsh, the Executive Director of the UF Alumni Association and Assistant Vice President of Alumni Affairs. "UF Alumni have created and guided some of the most innovative and profitable businesses in the nation and world. The Gator100 celebrates the very best of our Gator Entrepreneurs."
