Twice each year, Stadia, the St. Louis-based Sports Innovation Hub, conducts a private and public call for submissions around the world. RC21X, which has developed web- and mobile-based platforms for monitoring brain performance, is one of 10 finalists and will present to a panel of more than 70 judges in the highly competitive pitch, February 21 and 22. Stadia Accelerator helps established sports business startups get to the next level through the combination of up to a $100,000 equity investment, intensive mentoring, and connecting founders to the top sports business executives in the country. Among the judges are representatives from CBS Sports, Gatorade, Sony Corp., UnderArmour and Tulsa Capital Partners. Each session produces a unique profile—a set of scores that provides objective data on brain performance. Users can monitor the effects of those changes in real time, allowing the opportunity to have more meaningful conversations with healthcare providers if their performance shows a downward trend.
