Startup Uses Pokemon Go App Craze To Lure Members

ATLANTA, July 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The founders of the THUMBZZ.com have been playing Pokemon Go since the app released earlier this week in the United States. They have been catching Pokemon non-stop for hours walking through popular locations in the local Atlanta area where other Pokemon trainers are gathering.

THUMBZZ.com renamed all its Pokemon to promo its website to the game's players on major gym landmarks.

Pokemon Go has training gyms that you capture at major landmarks and locations. The app also has a feature where you can rename the names of the Pokemon that you catch. The founders have renamed all of their Pokemon to THUMBZZcom and have placed them on the gyms to attract the game players to visit their website. They have joined all three Pokemon teams to have access to all the gyms.

"We had a Hypno on top of the huge clock at the center atrium of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta for several hours on Wednesday," says THUMBZZ.com founder Lisa Johnverrell, who is a prominent member of Team Valor at level twenty-one. "That was hours of free promotion for our website in one of the busiest airports in the world. Other Pokemon Go players kept coming up to us asking us what THUMBZZ.com was and we just took it from there. We've gotten a large numbers of signups and plan to take advantage of the feature as long as it's available."

THUMBZZ.com has also placed their Pokemon on top of post offices, several churches and in major shopping centers and plans to travel the country recruiting more members to it's website using the renamed Pokemon.

"We are a microjobbing website and our customers pay others to do the same thing that we are doing. We are starting a microjob in the upcoming days where we will pay other Pokemon trainers $1.00 to $2.00 to rename their Pokeman after THUMBZZ.com and place them on the landmarks for a few hours."

Thumbzz.com has grown to include over 250 advertisers that pay users to visit websites, download apps, watch videos and do mini-reviews for their products or services. It is the only site of its kind to offer monthly subscriptions to their advertisers to hire an unlimited amount of  microjob seekers.
