The Pro Marine Megaphone is constructed of high-impact polycarbonate, engineered to meet IP67 (Ingress Protection Standard) for dust and water submersion. The unit is so watertight that it will float if dropped in the water, but can still operate perfectly even when submerged for up to 30 minutes (as shown in AmpliVox's demonstration video). With shock-absorbing rubber edge cushions as well as wrap-around handles, it is drop-tested to exceed MIL STD 810F 516.5 specifications for shock, the first and only American-made megaphone to meet these heightened standards.

In addition to its outstanding durability, the Pro Marine Megaphone provides the high-quality sound features that are the hallmark of AmpliVox megaphone products. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to eight hours of use, and an integrated charge indicator light lets users know when the battery is running low.
