Class120 Announces Attendance Monitoring Pilot at University of Florida Athletic DepartmentINDIANAPOLIS, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Florida Athletic Department will implement the Class120 college class attendance monitoring system for student-athletes in the fall of 2015. With patent-pending technology and proprietary campus mapping, Class120 monitors a college student's class attendance via the student's smartphone or tablet. If the device is not detected in class at a scheduled class time, automated email and SMS notifications can be triggered to coaches, athletic directors or parents. In addition, the University of Florida athletic staff will have access to a real-time dashboard with statistical analysis of attendance of all athletes, specific sports or individual athletes. The University of Florida pilot will include the debut of two new Class120 modules for tracking tutoring attendance and improving the longstanding manual class checking process most athletic departments implement.
