BCWD Launches New Version of Its Mobile Game, Pumpkin Samurai Extreme, a Swipe-to-Slice Motion Control Game Enabled by the Implementation of Extreme Reality's Motion SDK

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Herzalia, Israel (PRWEB) October 30, 2014 Extreme Reality, the only company to bring full-body 3D motion control to any device via a standard 2D camera, today announced its Extreme Motion SDK was integrated in the new version of Pumpkin Samurai, developed by Blue Crystal Web Design. Originally launched as a touch-only mobile game, the new version Pumpkin Samurai Extreme allows users to choose between a motion and a touch experience. By choosing motion, aspiring Samurais stand 5-6 feet in front of their device and slash the pumpkins and other objects with their hands as they fly across the screen. Pumpkin Samurai Extreme is available on the Google Play Store for free and will be available on iOS by the end of 2014.

Pumpkin Samurai Extreme is a fast paced motion recognition game, where the user accumulates and loses points throughout the Samurai slashing experience. By slashing Halloween themed objects, the user remains safe and is awarded additional points, but by accidentally slashing a bomb the user loses points. To further enhance the motion experience the user can mirror the game from a mobile device to a big screen TV.

"By integrating Extreme Reality's technology, BCWD was able to add a new and enhanced user experience to Pumpkin Samurai that was not only unique but also strongly differentiated the game from what is currently available in the mobile gaming market," said Joe Sumpter, Founder and VP Information Technology at Blue Crystal Web Design. "The ease of integration of Extreme Reality's Motion SDK was seamless and we look forward to partnering with Extreme Reality on future full-body motion recognition games." "Our software-only, cross platform motion control technology is what dramatically sets Extreme Reality apart from other motion technologies currently available," said Asaf Barzilay, VP Products at Extreme Reality. "By implementing our Extreme Reality Motion SDK, BCWD was able to completely transform Pumpkin Samurai Extreme into a fully immersive and fun motion game that users can enjoy via mobile device." Offered as an SDK, Extreme Reality's Extreme Motion is the only technology to provide full-body, software-based, motion analysis and control to any computing device or operating system via a standard 2D camera. The patented technology allows developers to easily add motion control to existing games or applications, and to create a wide range of new experiences.
