Cyc Fitness to Open Ten New Studios by End of 2015

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--

Cyc Fitness (www.cycfitness.com), the groundbreaking indoor cycling method that has taken New York City, Austin, TX and Madison, WI by storm, today announced plans for broad national expansion with 10 new studios set to open by the end of 2015. Stephen Nitkin, Founder and CEO of Cyc Fitness, the studio that is pioneering the "shop-in-shop" concept, the first of its kind in the boutique fitness community, has plans to open a studio with The Forum Athletic Club in Atlanta; four more studios with existing partner DavidBartonGym in Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Las Vegas; and the first Cyc inside a hotel with the Row NYC.

"Cyc's 'shop-in-shop' concept works within an existing facility's infrastructure, allowing for quick build-outs, highly competitive rates to riders, and the added benefit of existing high-end rider amenities which are often not available in traditional independent boutique fitness studios. It's a huge win for everyone involved and one of the primary reasos why Cyc is on pace to become one of the top three national boutique cycling studios by year-end 2015," said Nitkin.

The Cyc method, designed by renowned trainer and fitness expert Keoni Hudoba, and led by Cyc's world-class team of 'Cycologists', combines cardio and strength training for a 45-minute ride that activates the whole body, the whole time.

The first of Cyc's newest locations will open in October 2014 in Atlanta, GA, inside The Forum Athletic Club - Buckhead. The 50-bike, 2,500 square foot studio will offer rides at $25 per class, providing the Atlanta community with an exciting new alternative for the savvy fitness enthusiast.

Cyc will debut the opening of its second New York location in partnership with the Row NYC hotel, marking the fitness brand's inaugural hotel collaboration. Opening winter, 2015 in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan, the 50-bike, 3,000 square foot studio will have a dedicated entrance for riders and offer access to a high-end locker room and shower facilities. Row NYC hotel guests will enjoy a fully integrated experience with the added convenience of charging rides directly to their rooms.

Cyc's multi-studio expansion deal with DavidBartonGym includes locations in Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Las Vegas. Studio specific details and additional studios will be announced throughout 2015. Devoted to helping its members "LookBetterNaked," DavidBartonGym offers access to world-class trainers with unrivaled success in changing bodies. Each energetic location is furnished with state of the art equipment, and housed within an award-winning design.

"Our partnership with Cyc has been a tremendous success, increasing our member satisfaction and leading to invaluable crossover and conversion between our and Cyc's loyal members. All elements of Cyc's branding and aesthetic fit seamlessly within our unique environment. Cyc's riders rave about our facilities and the DavidBartonGym members love the convenience of having our entire gym and a boutique studio experience all under one roof," said Howard Brodsky, CEO at DavidBartonGym. "We're excited to help Cyc further expand their 'shop-in-shop' concept and look forward to rolling out more studios within our world-class facilities nationwide."

Details on four additional gym partnerships, all set to open by year-end 2015, will be released in the coming months. For more information on Cyc, please visit www.cycfitness.com.
