hhgregg and Indianapolis Colts Partner for Second Season to Create Interactive Experience at Lucas Oil Stadium

INDIANAPOLIS --(Business Wire)--

Appliance, electronics and furniture retailer, hhgregg (NYSE: HGG), has once again teamed up with the Indianapolis Colts to create a unique, interactive experience during this season's home games. Just as they did last season, Colts ticketholders can begin playing hhgregg's free football game app Endless Blitz at 8 a.m. on game days and face off against fellow fans in the stadium for the chance to win prizes.

Last season, the in-stadium play was extremely popular, with the Endless Blitz app ranked in the top 20 sports apps on iTunes, and gameplays and engagement up 1,000 percent from the daily average during game days. By adding this third-screen element to the Colts game-day experience, hhgregg helps fans feel like they are a part of the game, gives them the chance to win prizes and keeps the entertainment going even during timeouts and halftime.

"Through our partnership with the Indianapolis Colts, we're helping to bring fans a fun, interactive experience on home game days," said Jeffrey Pearson, hhgregg's senior vice president, marketing. "Engaging in our local community is important to us, and our longstanding relationship with the Colts organization is an integral part of that community involvement for hhgregg."

Fans can download the Endless Blitz app for Android and iOS now, and starting with the first Colts preseason home game on Saturday, Aug. 16, can go head-to-head with other fans at the stadium. The Endless Blitz game lets fans become football all-stars by juking and jumping over defenders on a limitless field, collecting coins and power-ups. This season, fans can play Endless Blitz as Blue, the Colts mascot. As fans play, the big-screen leaderboard in Lucas Oil is updated in real time, showing the current top three players.

"The increased fan engagement and excitement we saw last year drove us to incorporate hhgregg and The Endless Blitz Challenge again this season," said Carlie Irsay-Gordon, vice president/owner of the Indianapolis Colts. "We strive to create a lively and competitive atmosphere in Lucas Oil Stadium, and engaging fans through mobile devices and big screens allows them to participate in an event where they might otherwise be only spectators. We have some of the most passionate fans in the NFL, and engaging with creative partners like hhgregg helps us enhance our fans' entertainment and game-day experience."

Colts fans can play on personal mobile devices, as well as iPads available for use in eight designated areas throughout the stadium. The top three players in each quarter are selected and awarded prizes such as an LG 1080p HDTV or Blu-ray player, autographed Colts mini helmets and $100 hhgregg gift cards.
