Jarrard Phillips Cate & Hancock, Inc. Promotes Three

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. --(Business Wire)--

Jarrard Phillips Cate & Hancock, Inc., a national healthcare communications firm focused on the provider industry, announced the promotion of three executives.

Lauren Fulton and Magi Curtis were both promoted from Senior Executive Advisors to Vice Presidents, and Elizabeth Conn was promoted from Client Services Associate to Advisor.

"We're delighted to announce the promotion of three of our colleagues, each of which brings a unique perspective, drive and energy to our work," says David Jarrard, president and chief executive officer of Jarrard Inc.

"As our firm grows more sophisticated and furthers its reach into the healthcare provider space, our team of seasoned communications counselors - and their experiences - allows us to expand what we can offer clients. In such unprecedented times of change and transformation, we thik this is key. We couldn't be more excited about what the future holds."

Fulton has been at Jarrard Inc. since its inception. During her tenure at the firm, she has worked with some of the nation's leading healthcare systems on strategic initiatives, issue management campaigns, physician integration efforts, mergers and acquisitions, media relations and reputation building. Fulton was previously with the Nashville Sports Council, where she directed and promoted national sporting events. She received her Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Florida.

In addition to leading merger and acquisition campaigns and crisis and issue management work, Curtis leads the firm's government relations services, developing and executing plans that enable hospitals and health systems to achieve their strategic goals. She joined the firm three years ago from the Children's Hospital Association (formerly the National Association of Children's Hospitals (N.A.C.H.)), where she served as the associate director of legislative advocacy programs. Prior to that, Curtis lobbied in Washington, D.C., on behalf of healthcare and tax clients at Navigant Consulting. She also served for U.S. Sen. Mike DeWine, first as deputy political director of his successful 2000 re-election campaign and then in his Washington, D.C., office on healthcare and children's issues. Curtis received a bachelor's degree in political science from The Ohio State University.

Conn works on projects spanning mergers and acquisitions, issue management, media relations, and messaging and positioning. She first joined Jarrard Inc. as an intern and earned a position as Client Services Associate, where she excelled on several different types of client work. Previously, she served as managing editor of The Auburn Plainsman and won Fifth Place Best News Reporter at the Southeastern Journalism Conference. Conn graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and Spanish.
