Aqua Pharmaceuticals, LLC Announces Promotions of Key Members of Sales Team

West Chester-based Aqua Pharmaceuticals, an Almirall company, today announces the promotions of Steve Embry to Vice President of Sales and Annie Durbin to National Sales Director.

As Vice President of Sales, Embry will be responsible for oversight of the entire Aqua sales force, which currently includes 87 sales representatives and 10 regional managers. Previously, he served as National Sales Director. Prior to joining Aqua, Embry had a successful 25-year career with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, holding various leadership roles of increasing responsibility in Specialty Sales, Marketing, Operations, Sales Management and Account Management. He has worked in dermatology, primary care, psychiatry, cardiology and internal medicine throughout the country.

"Steve has consistently exceeded aggressive market share and sales revenue objectives," said Chief Operating Officer Ted White. "I can always depend on Steve. His leadership, business acumen and passionhave ensured his team's success and taken them to a higher level. I have no doubt he will deliver similar results in his new role."

As National Sales Director, Durbin will report directly to Embry. She has been with Aqua for six years and has been recognized as President's Club Award winner four times (twice as a sales representative and twice as Manager of the Year). Having sold the entire Aqua portfolio as both a sales representative and a manager, Durbin has participated in the launch of three Aqua brands: Fluoroplex^® (fluorouracil) 1% Topical Cream; Xolegel^® (ketoconazole) Gel, 2%; and Verdeso^® (desonide) Foam, 0.05%. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University and previously held positions at Sysco, Oakwood Worldwide and ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment.
