Telstra plans for advanced 4G

Feb 20, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Telstra plans to activate two new advanced versions of its fourth generation (4G) mobile device technology as part of its previously confirmed $A1.2bn investment in its mobile network in 2013. Telstra's mobile revenues rose 4.6% to $A4.65bn in the six months to December 2012, comprising 36% of the telco's overall sales. Telstra says its new 4G services will offer new features, including live sports coverage for mobile customers.
