Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson star in church video; new meme clowns Lions

Dec 27, 2012 (Detroit Free Press - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- OK, here's one Detroit Lions note from the nice department and one not-so-nice.

First, check out quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Calvin Johnson starring in a video for Kensington Community Church, which was expected to draw 40,000 people this week.

The video aired as an introduction to the church's Christmas services.

If you're wondering how the church pulled it off, Dave Wilson (the bald guy in the video) is both the lead pastor at Kensington's Orion Township campus and the team chaplain for the Lions.

Best quote, from Johnson: "Kid, didn't your mom tell you to stay away from yellow snow " Video below: Now for the not-so-nice (but freakin' hilarious).

Check out the "new" Lions video-game controller, as dreamed up by @nfl_memes on Twitter.
