Sense Networks Releases Top Ten College Rivalries Mobile Insights
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--
Sense
Networks, the original Big Data mobile location company, today
released the results
of its third Mobile Advertising Pulse (News - Alert), which breaks down three common
activities across this nation's college campuses - Staying out late,
Fast Food Fans and Coffee Lovers. While gathering over 1.2 million
mobile data points across college campuses including University of Notre
Dame, The University of Southern California, The University of Oklahoma
and The University of Michigan from September through November, Sense
Networks was able to pit rivals against each other following college
football's rivalry weekend.
Analysis of students' mobile location and mobile shopping data showed:

Auburn University vs. The University of Alabama

Auburn students eat 27 percent more fast food than the Crimson Tide

The University of Florida vs. The University of Georgia

Gators drink 30 percent more coffee than the Bulldogs

The Ohio State University vs. The University of Michigan

Buckeyes stay up laer 14 percent more than the Wolverines

Indiana University (News - Alert) vs. Purdue University

Hoosiers drank 52 percent more coffee than the Boilermakers

Notre Dame vs. USC

USC students were up later 23 percent more than their rivals in
South Bend, Indiana

Harvard students go to Starbucks more than any other school

USC students visit McDonald's more than any other school
