Optus pushes commission for updated Copyright Act

Nov 27, 2012 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Singtel Optus has called for changes to Australia's copyright law. The telco said in a submission to an Australian Law Reform Commission review that the existing regime threatened to undermine innovative technologies and was out of step with systems in other developed nations. Optus said digital copyright material should be shared across multiple delivery platforms.
