BRIEF: Here's where Thanksgiving NFL games can be seen, heard

Nov 22, 2012 (The Sacramento Bee - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Whether one has his or her feet up, enjoying a holiday toddy, is getting dinner prepared and the house straightened up, or trying to catch a glimpse while putting time in at the office, there will be plenty of chances to watch and listen to NFL football today.

Three games are schedule, providing daylong background for America's day of feasting.

Two traditional Thanksgiving game participants are on the schedule. The Detroit Lions, annual fixtures through good years and bad, host Houston. The 9:30 a.m. game will be televised on CBS, Channel 13 in the Sacramento area. It will be broadcast on AM radio 1320.

The other Thanksgiving regulars, the Dallas Cowboys, play host to the Washington Redskins. Gametime is 1:15 p.m. on the FOx network, Fox40 locally. It will be broadcast on AM radio 1320 and 1380.

Finally, NBC presents a special Thursday edition of it Football Night in America, featuring the New England Patriots at the new York Jets. The game is scheduled to start at 5:20 p.m. on Channel 3. It also will be broadcast on AM radio 1320.
