Portfolio Football Re-Brands and Officially Launches Sports Lever
Tampa, FL, Nov 15, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) --
Portfolio Football today announced that is has re-branded as Sports Lever (TM) and has formally launched operations. David Hirsch, the company's President and CEO said, "The vision for Sports Lever has greatly expanded. Our goal is to use sports as a metaphor to simplify complex financial concepts and empower people to manage their own finances while saving time and money. We offer our members core content, our patent-pending sports-based financial tools and ancillary financial products and services." Sports Lever's base membership is free.
The Sports Lever suite of products includes iFootballScore (TM), a financial planning tool that translates a member's current financial situation into the scoreboard of a football game, and Portfolio Football (TM), which allows users to rapidly build and manage a fully-diversified portfolio of mutual funds, stocks and ETFs like a fantasy football team. The concept is easy. A member's financial portfolio is the "team" and the individual assets are the "players." The system takes users intuitively through the portfolio construction process from the recommendation of an asset allocation strategy, or "formation," to the selection, or "drafting" of specific assets or players. Alternatively, members can purchase a fully-optimized, pre-fabricated portfolio. Members are given a target allocations report that will list how many shares or units of each asset to purchase. Members can take this report to their brokers to get started. Portfolio Football also has powerful features typically found only in expensive software that professional money managers use. Members can back test portfolios to see hypothetical 1-YR, 3-YR and 5-YR performance history. Members also get portfolio's standard deviation, beta and Sharpe Ratio.
