Schiano looking forward to Saturday at stadium

TAMPA, Aug 03, 2012 (Tampa Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- After a week of grueling morning workouts at the club facility, Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano can't wait for Saturday's activities planned for Raymond James Stadium.

The club has incorporated elements of FanFest into Saturday's program, which concludes with a 6:30 p.m. practice and a fireworks display. Admission and parking are free and the Bucs are offering discounted concessions.

"I'm looking forward to (Saturday) night," Schiano said after Friday's practice. "It's a chance for us to connect with our fans. We're going to be over there at 4 o'clock to sign autographs for two hours and hopefully everyone will get what they want.

"Then we'll have a legitimate practice, a lot like (Friday), where we do situational football. We'll have a little bit of a scrimmage with our younger players and let them get after it." The autograph session will be held in the main concourse, with offensive players sitting at one table and defensive players signing at another table.

"I think one of the things the fans will really enjoy is we have our coaches on the big board, explaining what the drills are," Schiano said. "We'll have one offensive coach and one defensive coach describe what we're trying to accomplish.

"I think it'll be a fun, interactive evening for our fans.
