KettleBell Concepts Partners with the National Academy of Sports Medicine to Offer a Kettlebell Program to Personal Trainers
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--
KettleBell Concepts (KBC) is partnering with the National Academy of
Sports Medicine (NASM) to offer a kettlebell program specifically
designed for personal trainers. Beginning mid-2012, NASM and KBC will
offer 6 live sessions in various locations around the United States. The
1-day, 8-hour training will provide trainers with the bare bones, basic
skills needed to safely and effectively get clients started with
kettlebell training.
The workshop will teach participants very basic program design
guidelines, basic progressions, and elementary kettlebell lifts. I will
also identify the benefits of kettlebell training such as increased
flexibility, coordination, cardiovascular conditioning, plus timing,
balance, muscular endurance, incredible caloric expenditure, and much
more. The program provides hands-on practical experience as well as
discussions on how to slowly, safely, and effectively integrate the
kettlebell into a personal training session. Participants who complete
the workshop will receive .8 NASM Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
