Corporate Changes Breeze through Peninsula Gaming

Peninsula Gaming, LLC , which engages in the ownership and operation of casino and off-track betting parlors, through its subsidiaries, made an announcement regarding promotions and additions made to its management.


Accordingly, it has promoted several members of its corporate financial team to new positions, and enhanced its legal, marketing and operations departments by adding vice presidents.

“Since its inception, Peninsula Gaming has been a forward-thinking company, and today we are happy to introduce a team of professionals who will continue in that tradition and bolster our standards as customer focused operators of quality gaming properties,” Jonathan Swain, COO, said.

Jon D. Zimmerman, who has more than 30 years of experience in gaming, and has been recognized as an industry expert in applying marketing concepts to casino operations, is being made Vice President of Southern Region Operations. He is expected to build teams that are focused on achieving revenue goals for the Louisiana properties. His long stint at Penn National Gaming will hold him in good stead.

Karen Greene is being appointed as Vice President, Advertising. Ms. Greene has won many AIGA and Addy awards for illustration, design and marketing campaigns. She brings with her 19 years of experience and success, developing and growing diverse, marquee brands and managing corporate advertising, marketing and product design. Previously she worked as Senior Art Director at Station Casino Inc and at MGM Mirage in Las Vegas.

James Adams, to be appointed as Vice President, Legal Affairs, has worked on complex corporate law matters, which include acquisitions, financing, Securities and Exchange Commission reporting obligations. He was formerly an Associate in the Palo Alto (News - Alert) office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom and recently worked for Century Link.

Dustin Manternach, who joined Peninsula Gaming in 2001 as Director of finance , joined the corporate team in 2003. Before joining Peninsula Gaming, he was working as Senior Auditor, Deloitte (News - Alert) and Touche.As part of the corporate promotions, he is being promoted as Vice President Corporate finance.

Lori Nelson, who is now being appointed as Corporate Director of Financial Reporting, had joined Peninsula Gaming in 2004, and played an important role in opening diamond Jo Worth county by overseeing construction and the day-to-day financials and expansion. In joining the corporate team, she is expected to be in charge of preparing quarterly and annual filings, and bolster support for operations.

Brian Adkins, who is now being posted as Corporate Director of Performance Analytics, joined Peninsula in 2006, and was promoted to Director of slot Technology in 2008. His 16 years of experience in the casino industry will augment his present responsibility  for game performance.

The promotions  and additions to the management will go a long way in strengthening the pillars of the Peninsula Gaming Industry. Swain was certain that with key changes having been made, the company was now in a position to generate growth in a prudent fashion It is a subsidiary of Peninsula Gaming Partners, LLC., which is among the fastest-growing, privately held casino companies in America.
