Interactive Sports Technologies Launches New High Definition Golf Simulators

January 24, 2012

Interactive Sports Technologies is planning to launch the new High Definition Golf simulator models that have curved screens, wider field of view and high quality graphics at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show.

The company explained that the simulator utilizes advanced computer vision technology to provide the most comprehensive and precise shot analysis. The new HD Golf simulators feature highly accurate ball and club tracking and measurement systems, realistic golf courses and intuitive easy-to-use touchscreen interfaces that would make them highly preferable to PGA Tour pros, top golf instructors and golf equipment manufacturers.

The simulator is able to create/visualize life-like golf courses by leveraging high resolution digital images, satellite data and geophysical data while building the 3D models of golf courses. The simulators are packed with 3D models of world’s renowned golf courses including Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, Kiawah Island, Spyglass, Doral, Harbourtown, Troon North, Bethpage Black, Banff Springs and many others.

Also available with the HD Golf simulators are a large compliment of options such as Professional Golf Instruction Studio, automated video swing analysis featuring Jim McLean’s 8-Step swing system, a complete suite of tools for club fitting and equipment comparison as well as live Internet play featuring real-time audio and video.

“High Definition Golf provides a turnkey solution for those looking to invest in a golf simulator. HD Golf will work with your architects, builders and designers every step of the way. We provide design, consulting and installation services, floor plans and CAD drawings as well as superior service and post installation aftercare”, said President and CEO Todd Richardson (News - Alert), in a press release.

Kevin Streelman, a PGA Tour Player commended HD Golf as the simulator that is designed as a complete golf instruction studio with a series of very accurate tools that provide the player with detailed shot analysis, video swing analysis, swing dynamics and my personal favorite, weight transfer and balance analysis. All the information is displayed on the system touchscreen and big screen and is easy to operate the system or analyze results.
