Vizrt (News - Alert), a company that produces software and tools for content management on digital media sites, has recently released Viz Sports Online. This new software package enables sports-oriented website creation with tons of preconfigured tools to let the user exert almost total creative freedom over the site’s production.
Viz Sports Online is designed so that “all video, graphics, text, images, maps, statistics and web publishing tools are available from within a single, user-friendly, drag and drop-based interface” according to a blog from newscaststudio.com. Offering a “full video repository with video editing, video playlists, picture-in-picture, and video ad integration capabilities,” Vid Sports Online allows for the maximum creative input on the website.
Incorporating interactive capabilities, the Viz Sports Online software allows for viewers to blog, post comments, host and be a part of online discussion forums, and approve or dislike certain posts. Users can “create relationships” with the sports analysis data by creating “pages devoted to teams, players, matches, games and special events, to keep viewers fully informed and engaged.” The interactive RSS and Twitter feeds along with real-time activity updates empower the user to create a unique sports-geared website with statistics that feed through Stats.com.
Viz Sports Online also hosts a huge widgets library complete with stories, images, videos, menus, and navigational and statistical innovations. Access to these widgets as well as the custom layouts available enable the user to design and build upon a creative, highly specialized website.
