(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)

Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable SportsNet network is about to complete its one year anniversary and will cover the 2013-14 Los Angeles Lakers season.

Loyal fans of this network will get to watch 78 live Lakers games this season and enjoy its award-winning programming.

Time Warner has also announced behind-the-scenes documentary series "Backstage: Lakers" and studio shows "Access SportsNet: Lakers" and "#LakeShow."

On-the-scene commentary will be provided by Lakers radio play-by-play host John Ireland.

The network's sideline reporter is Mike Trudell while the main stage will be handled by Bill Macdonald and Stu Lantz.

Time Warner Cable SportsNet network’ studio programs will be run by James Worthy, Robert Horry, Chris McGee, Jaime Maggio and Dave Miller.

Worthy is a NBA Hall of Famer and Lakers legend; and Horry is a Lakers legend. McGee, Maggio and Miller are Time Warner Cable SportsNet hosts.

Going live on the network each week, "Backstage: Lakers" is a very popular series on a regional or national level. Viewers of this series get a glimpse of what goes behind the scene during preparation and of course the real action.

The whole idea is to connect fans to the Lakers at all times so they can enjoy the game to the fullest.

The network aired the season premiere on 25 September and it gave viewers interesting insights into behind-the-scenes of the Lakers offseason life while preparing the fans for the action.

This particular episode successfully captured offseason life of Kobe Bryant. Fans also got a chance to see Chris Kaman, Jordan Farmar and Steve Nash in this special episode.

Apart from all the regular features of the show viewers will watch this year special vignette segments about everyday Lakers fans. This should be an enjoyable experience for those watching the game as fans will be profiled and interviewed for their gameday experiences.
