April 17, 2014

(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)

Tammer Farid, co-founder of One Basketball LLC., is easing the basketball learning curve with the latest release of, “The Basketball Solutions Manual: Skills Edition” for Amazon Kindle ($9.99).  The e-Book allows any player who has ever been told they are not good enough, the chance to hone their skills by learning from the best and gaining more confidence, versatility, consistency and playing time.

With twenty-five different basketball drills, useful basketball tips, detailed images, helpful diagrams and concise instructions on improving multiple facets of one’s game - and because the format is easy to read -  players can benefit in the offseason and add one or several dimensions to their game.

As an example, the book addresses shooting consistency, ball handling, finishing around the basket, versatility and defense—to name a few.

Farid claims that upon completion, “You will be armed with at least three to five solutions for all common basketball problems that  players are asked to solve over the course of their careers.”

The team that completes the challenges in the fastest time receives a $1,000 grand prize.

A portion of all proceeds from the inaugural OneBasketball Games event will go to the American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer Initiative.
