Search Engine for Domain Offers (Sedo), an industry leading domain marketplace and monetization provider recently announced a partnership with .CLUB Domains to launch the Winter Sports Auction. The auction will include 25 premium winter sports-related names with the .CLUB extension, such as snowboarding.club, skiing.club, and ice hockey club. The first priority to acquire the domain name from .CLUB will be given to the highest bidder. Trademark holders will have the pre-registration priority at the .CLUB’s sunrise phase. The auction will be held from February 19 – 26, 2014.

Sedo, an expert in domain auctions, especially pre-sale, sunrise, land rush, and premium name auctions, has formed partnership with many of the new generic top-level domains (gTLDs) such as .CLUB. Sedo’s pre-sale auction of two-letter .de domains was started in 2009, where the highest bidders were given pre-registration priority. The .CLUB Winter Sports Auction will be Sedo’s first pre-sale auction for the new gTLDs.
