Athletic Improvement Company Introduces iRake Sports App

Athletic Improvement Company has introduced an application which will help parents who do not have any baseball coaching abilities to help their children improve their performance in the sport.

The company strives to develop affordable athlete improvement apps for popular sports. Other apps from the company include Softball Hitting Coach and the upcoming Golf Coach Pro Mobile app.

The new application coined the Baseball Swing Trainer - iRake App will enable parents to augment their children’s confidence and at the same time enjoy a fun and educational training session. The application has been named after the baseball term “raking” which refers to hitting a player hitting the ball extremely hard.

The Baseball Swing Trainer App-iRake app for both the iPhone (News - Alert) and iPad allows players to record, analyze, and compare their swings with experts or with their own performances during various training sessions.

Pro player’s whose swings are now available for purchase and download include Martin Prado of the Arizona Diamond Backs and Brayan Pen, of the Detroit Tigers. More players are expected to be added in the near future.

In addition, the iRake baseball swing trainer application features the ability to record a new swing, analyze a swing, purchase pro swings, share swings and also add friends to view the overall swing history.

The application can be used by athletes, coaches, parents and friends alike. At this time, devices which can support the application are iPhone 4 or higher besides and the iPad 2 or higher. The Baseball Swing Trainer- iRake app is priced at $3.99.
