Dean Cummings, a popular mountain skier, has collaborated with iON Worldwide for special usage and promotion of iON Cameras. A believer of safety during avalanches, Cummings and his organizations have chosen iON Cameras mainly for their best-in-class performance in the tough outdoor environment.

iON and Cummings will showcase the iON Cameras at the SnowSports Industries American (SIA) Snow Show, scheduled from January 31 to February 3 in Denver. iON will be present at booth #2957, where Cummings will be available on Friday, February 1 at 4 p.m. MST.

As per the contract, valid for three years, the latest iON Air Pro 2, GPS-enabled iON Adventure and other iON cameras will be promoted only by Cummings and his organizations, namely H2O Guides, Dean Cummings' Steep Life Protocols and Tour, and H2O Outdoor Gear. The complete range of iON cameras will be used by Cummings in his explorations, appearances, pictures, expedition engagements, courses, guide service and on the website.

Users can also buy iON cameras at the H2O Outdoor Gear website.

In a statement, Giovanni Tomaselli, founder and CEO, iON Worldwide said, "We are thrilled and honored to partner with Dean and his H2O team, as we know they will be using our cameras in some of the harshest environments known to man. I am looking forward to seeing some amazing footage, as well as getting some solid feedback on the performance of our cameras in such challenging conditions."

Prior to choosing iON Air Pro and Adventure series cameras, Cummings carried out an exhaustive assessment of sturdy point-of-view cameras. A penchant for the in general quality and feature-set of the cameras, in particular for iON’s Wi-Fi capabilities, was mentioned by Cummings.

Cummings said, "iON offers the most impressive array of technology in a small package of any electronics I've worked with. In addition to fantastic optical quality, the compact cameras are waterproof, lightweight and easy to use, with built-in GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity. All are highly resistant to cold and have a long battery life. For durability, iON is the best choice of POV camera for use in remote ski terrain."
