Blue Ox Entertainment Unveils SideBets Peer-To-Peer Sports Betting App

Blue Ox Entertainment, specializing in application development, launched the enhanced SideBets app, a peer-to-peer sports betting application.

It was revealed that the new upgraded iOS app will let users to post SideBets victories to their Twitter (News - Alert) feed or Facebook wall easily with one click. The app allows users to create “groups” for their friends. Also they will be able to send out a bet to the included group of friends and bet made by the “first to accept” gets the action.

Besides, SideBets tracks all the wins and losses of the members and the exchange of virtual currency, said officials.

“There are dozens of apps for poker, slot machines, and other card games like solitaire, but no one until now has really figured out how to make a social game around sports betting,” said Dr. Randy Leff, co-founder of Blue Ox Entertainment.

SideBets also offers virtual wagers on games covering NFL, NBA, MLB (News - Alert), NHL, NCAA Football and Men’s Basketball MMA. The app also includes details from sports books and live scores are displayed in real-time to further enhance the sports gambling experience at the same time ensuring that there is no financial risk.

Point spread, under/over and money line wagers are some betting options that are included which are offered by sports books in Las Vegas and across the globe. Also users get to monitor bets and share details with fellow competitors via integrated live chat, added officials.

SideBets serves the needs for a socially-focused sports betting application as it transforms social networking into “Social BETworking” keeping the reality of betting between competitors and social interaction intact although money involved is fake.

On downloading the free application all users will receive $100 SideBet Dollars for their betting competitions. Profits can be made by winning bets, otherwise users can buy additional SideBet Dollars within the application. Users can also compare their record against their own friends and also with the SideBets Top 50 global leaderboard.

“When we first launched SideBets, we didn’t fully realize what we had. However, after reviewing last year’s college and professional football action through the app, we learned how people were using it and found ways to enhance it,” Dr.Leff added.
