Vitelity Communications to Sponsor Steve Johnson, NHRA Pro Stock Motorcyclist

April 16, 2012

(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)

Innovations in the field of telecommunications, with an increasing fan base of motorsports, have pushed to unite in a number of ways unimagined until now.

Vitelity Communications, a source of Voice over IP (VoIP)-based solutions, announced it has entered a sponsorship agreement with Steve Johnson (News - Alert) Racing for the 2012 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Full Throttle racing series, airing on ESPN2.

Through its own 50Gbit private dark fiber network, established in several major U.S. cities, the company offers wholesale voice, fax, SMS and hosting services.

VoipReview.org has given the company a five-star rating, while the Better Business Bureau has offered it an ‘A’ rating. In 2009 and 2010, Vitelity Communications (News - Alert) was honored with the IT Expo’s most innovative new product award.

“The NHRA is known for their exciting, fast-paced events with some of the most exciting racing in motorsports,” said Scott Navratil, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Vitelity Communications. “We were looking for a team that was dynamic, well-recognized, and had a history of winning. The Steve Johnson Racing Team met those requirements and we believe they will help promote our brand nationwide.”

Under the partnership with Steve Johnson Racing, Vitelity will offer much more than just its logo on Johnson’s Pro Stock Suzuki and the team’s uniforms. Apart from providing support for the daily communication needs of the team, it will provide a range of opportunities to fans and businesses that work in and around all forms of motorsports.

O’Reilly Auto Parts NRHA Spring Nationals will be held in Houston on April 27-29, marking the official launch of the partnership.

“This truly is an honor to be partnered with a unique and growing company such as Vitelity,” said Steve Johnson, NHRA Motorcycle Pro Stock racer. “Technology affects us all, but it can be the life blood of a racing team. The fact that we have been chosen to help promote this kind of phone service, as well as many other services, says a lot about NHRA Full Throttle drag racing and, specifically, our team. It’s going to be so rewarding telling business owners about Vitelity and this unique way to reduce company expenses.”

In January 2012, Vitelity Communications announced the launch of International Direct Inward Dialing or ‘DID’ numbers to more than 60 countries around the world. With a Vitelity DID number, businesses and individuals worldwide can create a virtual local presence in numerous cities worldwide.
