Leroy's APP Now Downloadable on iPad Mobile Devices
(SPORTS TECHNOLOGY)
Apple iPad and iPhone (News - Alert) users can now download the newly released Leroy’s APP, a mobile account wagering application from iTunes app store. This announcement was made after American Wagering received approved from Nevada gaming regulators and Apple (News

This approval makes American Wagering, which operates Leroy's Horse and Sports Place, the only U.S.-based gaming company to have a sports betting application available in the iTunes app store for both the iPhone and iPad.
Vic Salerno, chief executive officer of American Wagering said that he is grateful for the approvals from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and Apple to allow the Leroy’s APP for the iPad to be introduced to Nevada.
“Our market penetration in the state of Nevada has been accomplished both on budget and on schedule. We are proud of our achievements in both mobile and kiosk wagering attained in the past year and a half. In September 2011, Leroy's introduced account wagering kiosks in PT's and Sierra Gold taverns. I am delighted with the outstanding working relationship that we have established with Blake Sartini and his team at Golden Gaming. The customer response to both products has been phenomenal,” added Salerno.
Leroy’s APP is also available on Android smartphones, Android tablets and BlackBerry smartphones that are furnished by the top four US mobile carriers - Verizon, Sprint, AT&T (News
- Alert) and T-Mobile.
The app was designed to act as a low-cost, convenient and efficient way to communicate and accept wagers from mobile gamblers. Since it is installed on users’ phones, there is no need for any equipment to be purchased or maintained.
The convenience of the application is that once downloaded to the user’s smartphone, it travels with them. There is no need to check out a device or a tablet from the casino and similarly the casino where the gambling takes places is not required to purchase, maintain, or keep track of, any proprietary devices.
