The Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League has entered into a partnership relation with CommerceTel (News - Alert) to facilitate mobile marketing tactics such as voting, text alerts and special offers.

CommerceTel Corporation is an award-winning provider of proprietary mobile marketing technologies and solutions.

"We are excited to work with the Nashville Predators," said Michael Falato, vice president of sales & business development of CommerceTel's newly acquired Txtstation subsidiary, in a press release. "They are probably one of the most advanced teams that use social and mobile tactics that I have ever worked with. The Predators uniquely understand what fans want and when they want it."

The Predators, with the help of CommerceTel's C4 and Txtstation Pro web-based platforms, will be equipped to deliver HD-quality graphics and animations to screens, whether it is broadcast, stadium boards, or digital signage.

CommerceTel's C4 and Txtstation will also allow fans to text their messages to a short code and within seconds and see the real time results appearing live on the screen.

This display of the dynamic responses not only has helped improve overall response rate but has also engaged the consumer in a fun and interactive way.

"We have worked with various mobile partners in the past, but after seeing CommerceTel and Txtstation's technology, attention to detail, and great client services, we were compelled to select CommerceTel and Txtstation to power our interactive mobile efforts," said Jordan Kolosey, director of business strategy of the Nashville Predators.

In related news, CommerceTel Corporation has announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire BoomText from DigiMark, LLC. The transaction would mark CommerceTel's third acquisition of the year.
